Introduction
If your church includes more than one ministry, you can add them easily from within your ChMeetings account.
Add a ministry
To add a new ministry, start by clicking the arrow next to your church name, at the top left of your screen.
Next, click on Add Ministry.
💡 Note that if you have more than 5 ministries, the option above will be Open All/Add Ministry.
You can now see a list of existing ministries, which you can search using the field at the top. The ministry that you are currently viewing will have a checkmark next to it. Here is where you can click again in Add Ministry, to add a new one.
Next, you can enter your ministry information:
- Select the Parent Ministry.
- Enter the Name of your new ministry.
- Add a logo if you like, by clicking the Edit Logo (🖉) icon on the left. This will allow you to browse your computer for the desired image.
- Click Save when you are ready.
Your new ministry is now saved and available to select from the ministries list.
Edit a ministry
To edit an existing ministry, please go to Open All/Add Ministry from within your ministries list at the top left of your screen.
In your list of ministries, click the options button corresponding to the ministry you want to edit. Select the Edit option in the menu.
Next, you can edit your ministry name and logo. If you need to edit the name or logo of your main Church or Diocese, rather than a ministry, then please go to Settings > Account Settings to do so.
For Diocese accounts: The diocese can be edited from Settings > Account Settings and churches can be updated from Settings > Churches.
Delete a ministry
If you need to remove a ministry, please start from the Add ministry area within your ministry list. Here, please find the one you need, click the options button next to it and select Delete.
You will then be asked to confirm your choice to delete the ministry. Please click Delete to confirm or Cancel if you no longer want to proceed.
⚠ Important
All people assigned to the ministry will be kept; however, please keep in mind that all ministry related activities will be removed (Groups, Events, Follow ups, Forms, etc.)
