Follow these steps to integrate ChMeetings with Power BI and start creating beautiful reports:

1. Get your ChMeetings API key
   • Log into your ChMeetings account.
   • Go to Integrations.
   • If you don’t already have an API key, click Generate New API Key.
   • Copy the generated API key.
     
     
     
     
2. Open the Power BI report
   • Download the report template that is also attached to this guide: ChMeetings_PowerBI_Template.pbix
   • Locate and open the Power BI file, from the location you saved it to.
     
     
3. Update the API key in Power BI
   • On the right side of Power BI, right-click the People field.
   • Select Edit query.
     
     
     
     
   • In the new window, on the left side, right-click the people query under Other Queries.
     
     
4. Select Advanced Editor.
   
   
   
   
   • In the editor, find the placeholder text "Test-API-Key" and replace it with your API key.
     
     
     
     
   • Click Done.
     
     
5. Apply the changes
   
   
   1. Click Close & Apply in the top-left corner to save and apply your changes.
      
      

You’re all set! Your Power BI report will now pull data using your ChMeetings API.
