Introduction
Worship Plan Templates help you create event plans much faster and easier with plan structures you can set up once then reuse as many times as you need to. Templates are integrated within the Worship Plans section of ChMeetings to help you manage them from a centralized location.
Templates make it quick and easy to build plans that follow a consistent structure. If your church follows a common service format, having ready-made templates will help streamline plan creation.
You can access Worship Plan Templates from both the dedicated Worship Planning section, and from within the Events module, where each event comes with a Plan option.
The main section where you have full management features is Worship Plans > Templates. Moving forward, this guide will be focusing on working with this specific section of ChMeetings.
Add a Template
To add a new template:
- Go to Worship Planning > Templates.
- Click Add Template.
- Enter the Template Title, and Save.
Next, you will be taken to an empty Worship Plan screen, where you can add items for your template.
To learn how to work with template content, please see our Worship Planning guide. The content management process is exactly the same for both templates and plans that may not be using a template
Alternatively, you can create a template from a plan you create by clicking Save as Template within the Plan. You can then enter a Title, and that particular plan will become a template you can reuse later, for other plans.
Edit or Delete Templates
You can edit a template’s content by clicking on its name, within the list found under Worship Planning > Templates.
You can edit template titles or delete templates using the Edit and Delete options respectively. Both are available in the context menu of each template.
