If your ChMeetings links (such as for events, appointments, blog posts, etc) are opening in the mobile browser rather than redirecting to the app, it’s usually because the supported links are set to open in another app by default. Your device might have prompted you to choose how to open a link, either using your browser or your ChMeetings app; and if you chose to always open in the browser, then this gets saved as such and ChMeetings links always open in the browser.
Here’s how you can fix this:
On Android:
- Go to Settings > Apps,
- Find ChMeetings in your list of apps,
- Go to Defaults > Set as Default.
- Under App Links set Open Supported Links to In this app.
Note that the path might slightly vary depending on your Android version, but the principle is the same. You need to find ChMeetings in your app list and set it to open supported links by default.
On iOS:
- The Quick Fix: Long-press the link and tap Open in > ChMeetings instead of tapping it normally.
- Toggle in Safari: Go to Settings > Safari > Open Links in Apps and look for the ChMeetings toggle, which you need to turn off.
