Introduction

The Calendar module is where you can keep track of all of your meetings, follow-ups, events, birthdays, etc. You can always find it within your main ChMeetings menu.

The Meetings calendar is the default one, and it is locked throughout ChMeetings (it cannot be renamed or deleted, and its associated color cannot be changed).

View existing calendars

All of your existing calendars are available within the Calendar module. Those available by default within ChMeetings are for birthdays, meetings, appointments, follow-ups, and wedding anniversaries.

On the left side of your screen, there is a calendar selection dropdown where you can toggle calendars on or off. You can also Select All or Unselect All calendars as needed.

Each calendar is color-coded, so the color in the calendar list will be the same one used to show entries within that calendar. This is an easy way for you to distinguish what is what, especially when displaying multiple calendars. 

At the top of your calendar, there is a set of view modes you can choose from. These allow you to view by Month, Week or Day or have an Agenda view, which creates a simple list of events (including the date, time and event name). You can tick the Details field to see the description details for your event.

Add an event from the calendar

There is an Add Event button at the top left of your calendar, which lets you create a new event right from within the Calendar view. .Alternatively, clicking an empty timeslot will open up the event editing area, where you can add an event for that timeslot. 

Manage calendars 

The calendar management section is where you can add, edit or delete calendars. You can access it by clicking the gear (⚙) icon next to your calendar selection area.

Add a new calendar

To add a new calendar,  simply go to Manage Calendars > Add New Calendar enter its name and choose a color. Click Save when you are ready.

Edit a calendar

To edit an existing calendar, find it under Manage Calendar, and click the pencil (🖉) icon next to it. This will allow you to update the name or color.

Delete a calendar

To delete a calendar, click the red recycle icon next to it. 

Print a Calendar view

If you would like to print your calendar view, you can do so by clicking the Print button at the top right of your Calendar screen. This will download a .pdf which you can easily print afterwards. The .pdf will contain the same calendars as your current view, so be sure to select the ones you need, beforehand.
