Welcome to ChMeetings! We are grateful for your decision to migrate your church data into our platform and are here to help make your transition as comfortable as possible.

If you have subscribed to a paid plan and prefer to leave this to us, please get in touch. If you choose any of our paid plans, our team will migrate your data at no additional cost.  

If you have a free account or want to do this process yourself, we provide various import tools to bring your data over as easily as possible.

This guide shows you how to retrieve your data from Realm and import it into ChMeetings.

Export from Realm

To migrate your data to ChMeetings, you must first retrieve it from Realm, where the available exports are People and Contributions.

Export People

1. Go to Reports > Custom Query.
2. Find People using the field Family Name and the parameter is not blank. Click Show Results.
3. Click Preview, then Edit Columns. Select the columns you want then click Apply. 
4. Click Preview, then Download as Individual List (.csv).

Export Contributions

1. Go to Giving > Giving Statements. Click Generate New Statement. 
2. Enter a name for the statement and specify a date range for which it should pull transactions.
3. For Statement Type select Detailed Tax Statement. 
4. Select Memos and Non-deductible Gifts.
5. Filter By Fund Amount is greater than: 0.00.
6. For Statement Output select Export All.
7. For Sort Order select  Last Name(A-Z).
8. Generate the statement. 
9. Go to List of Statements and click View Export.

Import into ChMeetings

To import your data into ChMeetings, please use the corresponding export files along with the dedicated tool for each import:

1. Import people and families. You can Merge duplicate people after import if needed.
2. Import contributions.
