If you prefer to leave it to us, please get in touch, and our team will migrate your data at no additional cost if you choose any of our paid plans.
If you want to go through this process yourself, we provide various import tools for you to use.
This guide shows you how to retrieve your data from Fellowship One and import it into ChMeetings.
Export Data from Fellowship One
People
To export People data from Fellowship One, follow the steps below:
- Log into Fellowship One.
- Go to Reports.
- Search for P9400 (Core People Records Export v3.2).

Select the following criteria:

Return People in these Groups:
- Based on their Role/Type
- These Spans of Care - Ignore
- These Group Types - Ignore
- These Campuses - Ignore
- These Groups - Ignore
- Group Membership Instructions: - Return People in ANY Selected Group
- And Joined within this Time Period - Ignore

Choose Fields to Display:
- Household ID
- Home Phone
- Select All fields except Photo. Output Separate Email Columns: Yes
- Output Separate Phone Columns: Yes
- Display this 1st Address - Primary
- Display this 2nd Address - Ignore

Display these Fields for each Address
- Street Address
- City
- State
- Postal Code (Full)
- If displaying Full Address, Format it using 1 Line.

Configure Output:
- Display these Metrics for each row -> Ignore This
- Page/Sheet Break on -> Ignore This
- Create labels/Temporary Groups using: I am NOT outputting to labels or Groups
- Choose an Output Type: -> Excel
- Click additional filters.
- Return based on Status/SubStatus (who)
- Having these Status Group::Statuses: Select All including Deceased.
- Display Field Formatting (what):
- Display Individual First Name in this Format: Johnathan "John" Edward
- Run the Report
- Click the Queue link and download the report to your computer when it is ready.

Return People in these Groups:
Contributions
- Log into Fellowship One.
- Go to Reports.
- Search for G1050 (Core Giving Records v 3.0).

Set the following criteria for Return Giving Records (who):
- Based on this date - Received Date
- Week starts on - Sunday
- Occurring within this Date Range - Custom Date Range
- Occurring after this time: Ignore This (has to be done or report will error)
- Occurring before this time: Ignore This (has to be done or report will error)
- Belonging to Batches - Ignore
- Set the following criteria for choosing fields and configuring the output:
- Page/Sheet ... - Ignore
- Subgroup with Subtotal on - Ignore

Multi Select Box - Gift Columns to Display:
- All Trans by ID
- \ACH, Check, Cash, BankCard
- Batch Date
- Batch Name
- Contribution or Receipt
- Contribution Attributes
- Contribution Subtype
- Create Date
- Fund
- Fund account Reference description
- Memo
- Received Date
- Reference (check number)
- Sub Fund

Multi select box - Contributor Columns to Display:
- Contributor ID
- Contributor Full Name
- Contributor Last Name
- Giving Unit ID
- Giving Unit Full Name
- Giving Unit Last Name
- Household, Individual or Organization (needed to get the correct name)
- Mem/Envelope #
- Multi select box - Primary Address columns to Display - Ignore
- Multi select box - Grand Total Columns to Display - Ignore
- Display total amount - Yes
- Sort Records by Received Date & Time
- Output to labels - No
- Choose an Output Type: - Excel
- Run the Report
- Click the Queue link and download the report to your computer when it is ready.
Import into ChMeetings
To import your data into ChMeetings, please use the corresponding Elvanto/Tithe.ly export files along with the dedicated tool for each import:
- Import people. You can Merge duplicate people if needed.
- Import contributions.
