Available Storage Space And File Size Limits
Everyone using the branded app gets 10 GB of Media Library Storage to upload any type of media file. If you need additional space for files uploaded to ChMeetings, you can now get a storage plan as per your needs: You can find this option under Settings > Subscription. Here are the available plans:
- 50 GB: $3/month
- 100 GB: $5/month
- 500 GB: $15/month
- 1000 GB: $25/month
You can always monitor your storage space by clicking the Storage button at the top of your Media Library.
Add Media
You can add media from the Add Media button, which can be found at the top of your Media Library, no matter the section you are in.
In the Add Media window, provide the following information:
-
Media Information:
- Title: The title of your content. Keep it short and simple.
- Subtitle: This can show additional information about your content.
-
Speaker: Select the speaker for the content you’re adding. You must add speakers before being able to select them. To do so, click the gear icon next to the field, enter your speaker’s name, optionally add a photo, and save it. If you add a speaker photo but no item artwork, then the speaker photo will be the default item image. Once you save the speaker, you will then be able to select their name from the list.
-
Description: Enter a short description for your content. This should provide a few more details on what it’s about; or provide additional information such as indications, additional resources, scripture passages, etc.
-
Media File:
-
Add Links: Selecting this option means that you will be adding your media via external links from a platform that is already hosting your files. Use the Video Link field, Audio Link field, or both, to add your file.
Important Note:
Please keep in mind that when you add both audio and video content under the same title and subtitle (so under the same library item), you should ensure that the audio and video links provide the exact same content. This method is very useful if your audience wants to either watch or listen to your content, but it can create a lot of confusion if you upload different things to the audio and video links. To add different content, no matter the format, please use different library items with relevant titles.
- Upload: Selecting this option means that you are uploading your file directly to ChMeetings and hosting it on our servers. You can upload files of up to 1024MB / 1GB in size.

-
When you are sure that your item is ready, click the Save button.
-
When you are sure that your item is ready, click the Save button.
Once your item is added, it will be visible in your library, under the relevant section - audio or video. In this example, we have added an audio file.
If you add an item with audio and video versions, then you will see it in both sections. You will be able to play your content within the Media Library itself, in either format.
Edit Media
You can edit all your items by clicking the Options button next to it (...), and then selecting Edit. You will be taken to the Edit Media window, where you can update all item details.
Add Media To Series
Series allow you to organize your media in any way that makes sense to you and your audience. Think of this feature as creating an album.
You can add any item to a series by clicking the Options button next to it (...), and then selecting Add To Series. You will be taken to the Add To Series window, where you can select the desired series to add the item to. The respective series must have already been created to be shown here.
You can add the same item to multiple series. Read about managing series to learn more.
Delete Media
You can delete any item by clicking the Options button next to it (...), and then selecting Delete.
You will be asked to confirm your choice. Please keep in mind that deleted items cannot be restored. You must add it again from the beginning if you want to bring it back to your library.
Search Your Library
You can search for media items using the Search box at the top right. It works with speaker names and keywords from media titles and subtitles.
The Search works within the section that you are in - for example, if you are looking for an audio item, please search using the corresponding section to be able to find it. The only exception to this are items that contain both audio and video content, and which are listed in both sections.
Sort Media
You can sort media by title and by the number of views. Just click the column header to sort.
Filter Media
You can filter audio or video items by the date when they were added (From/To), and by Speaker. You may need to click the Filters icon next to the Search box to enable them.
