Series are a way to organize multiple related Media Library items together, like in an album. Series are displayed both in your Media Library and can be displayed as such to your audience using the dedicated Media Card in the Builder.
You can find Media Library Series by going to Member Portal > Media Library > Series.
Add Series
To add a new series to your Media Library, click the Add Series button.
In the Add Series window, enter a title and subtitle for your series.
Next, upload some artwork for it. We recommend that you upload artwork to accompany your series when published for your audience. This artwork will also be shown within your media library, next to the series. You can upload three image sizes to represent your content as a square, rectangle, or banner:
- 1024 X 1024px
- 1920 X 1080px
- 1920 X 692px
Save your series when ready.
Once saved, your new series is listed under the Series section of your Media Library.
Add Media To A Series
Add New Media Directly To A Series
If you want to add new media directly to a certain series, follow these steps:
- Go to the Series section of your Media Library;
- Create or select the series that you want to add the media to;
-
Click Add Media.
In the Add Media window, provide the following information:
-
Media Information:
- Title: The title of your content. Keep it short and simple.
- Subtitle: This can show additional information about your content.
-
Speaker: Select the speaker for the content you’re adding. You must add speakers before being able to select them. To do so, click the gear icon next to the field, enter your speaker’s name, and then save it. You will then be able to select them in the list.
- Description: Enter a short description for your content. This should provide a few more details on what it’s about; or provide additional information such as indications, additional resources, scripture passages, etc.
-
Media File:
-
Add Links: Selecting this option means that you will be adding your media via external links from a platform that is already hosting your files. Use the Video Link field, Audio Link field, or both, to add your file.
Important Note:
Please keep in mind that when you add both audio and video content under the same title and subtitle (so under the same library item), you should ensure that the audio and video links provide the exact same content. This method is very useful if your audience wants to either watch or listen to your content, but it can create a lot of confusion if you upload different things to the audio and video links. To add different content, no matter the format, please use different library items with relevant titles.
-
Upload (Coming Soon): Selecting this option means that you are uploading your file directly to ChMeetings and hosting it on our servers.

Add Existing Media
Series allow you to organize your media in any way that makes sense to you and your audience. Think of this feature as creating an album.
To add existing media to a series, you must follow the steps below:
- Go to the Audio or Video section of your Media Library.
- Click the Options button next to it (...),
- Select Add To Series.
- You will be taken to the Add To Series window, where you can select the desired series to add the item to. The respective series must have already been created to be shown here.
View Series Content
While in your Media Library, you can view the contents of a series by going to the Series section and clicking on its name.
You will then be shown the contents of the respective series.
Add Subseries
A subseries is a series added inside another series. You can do this using the same Add Series button. The process is the same as the one initiated from the main Media Library screen, but when you add a subseries, you will only be able to see it when you browse the main series you added it to.
Remove Subseries
You can remove a subseries by opening the Options Menu (...) next to it and selecting Remove from Series.
You will be asked to confirm your choice. Once the removal is done, the subseries will disappear from the main series it was added to and will be displayed on the main Series screen of your Media Library.
Reorder Series Items
You can change the order of items within a series using the Move buttons on the left side of each item. Click the button and drag the item up or down to change its position.
Edit Series and Subseries
You can edit series and subseries by clicking the options button (...) next to them, then selecting Edit. This will take you to the Edit Series window, where you can update the Title, Subtitle, or Artwork.
Move A Series Or Media Item To Another Series
You can move a series or media item to another series using the same process:
- Open the Options (...) menu,
- Select Move to another series.
- In the following window, you’ll be able to see the item you are moving, check the current series, and select the series to move it to.
- Click Move when done.
Remove Media From A Series
You can remove media items from a series by opening the Options Menu (...) next to it and selecting Remove from Series.
You will be asked to confirm your choice. Once the removal is done, the media item will disappear from the selected series it was added to and will be displayed on the main Audio and/or Video screen of your Media Library.
Note that if you added the same media item to multiple series, it will only be removed from the series that you are working with, not all series it’s been added to.
Delete Media
You can delete any media item by clicking the Options button next to it (...), and then selecting Delete.
You will be asked to confirm your choice. Please keep in mind that deleted items cannot be restored. You must add it again from the beginning if you want to bring it back to your library. This will completely remove the media item from your Media Library; not just take it out of a series.
Search Series
You can search for a series using the Search box at the top right. It works with keywords from series titles and subtitles.
The Search works within the screen you are in - so in the main Series screen, you can only search for a main Series, not a subseries.
At the moment you can only search within the main Series screen, not inside a series.
Filter Series
You can filter series by the date when they were added (From/To), and by Speaker. You may need to click the Filters icon next to the Search box to enable them.
