Event Payment management is key to successful event organization. This guide takes you through the features you need in order to find, organize, edit, and export event payments within ChMeetings.
Find Payment Lists for Specific Events
The easiest way to find payment lists for specific events is to go to Events > All Payments, and filter the Payments List by event.
Alternatively, you can also access it via the event page, which will show you a People and Tickets section - either on the main event page for one-time events, or in the occurrence options menu for recurring events.
You will therefore find all payments completed and due for this specific event within People and Tickets > Payments. Here is where you can perform the following:
View your list of payments,
Search by name, email, or registration ID,
Filter by Payment Status or Method,
Edit the payment and update the amount, payment date or payment method (cash, card, cheque, or transfer). You can also get the attendee’s registration link or cancel the registration.
Edit Event Payments
Editing payments is available for paid events and is useful in several scenarios:
When you enable partial payments, and such a payment needs manual adjustment.
When your event has later payment enabled and these payments are not made online.
When you get paid in cash, by card, check, or bank transfer.
When there are errors that need correction.
etc.
To edit an event payment:
Open the event,
Go to People & Tickets > Payments,
Find the person in question,
Click the options button next to them, and choose Edit,
You can edit the amount, payment date, and payment method (cash, card, check, or transfer),
Save your edits.
Manage Payments Across Events
You can manage all event payments from within Events > All Payments.
This section allows you to view all event payments based on two lists:
Events List, which displays overview payment information per event.
Payments List, which displays individual payments.
The Events List
The Events List shows an overview of payment information per event. It allows you to view the following:
The name of the event;
The Ministry under which it has been organized;
The start and end date;
The total amount paid for tickets to this event;
The amount remaining to be paid for tickets to this event.
You can choose whether to Show Subministry Events using the toggle at the top. When this toggle is off, the list will not display events that are organized under a sub-ministry.
You can use the search field to search events by name, or filter them by Event, Start/End Date, Payment Status or Payment Method.
You can also download the list using the Download icon at the top right of the list.
The Payments List
The Payments List shows a full list of payments for tickets to all of your events. It allows you to view the following:
The payer’s name, photo, and profile link,
The event to which the payment relates,
The registration ID, along with the number of corresponding tickets,
The amount paid,
The amount remaining to be paid,
The registration date,
You can choose whether to Show Subministry Events using the toggle at the top. When this toggle is off, the list will not display events that are organized under a sub-ministry.
You can search payments by name, email or registration ID. Additionally, you can access the Advanced Search feature to filter by Event, Start/End Date, Payment Status, and Payment Methods.
You can edit payments (amount, payment date, and payment method - cash, card, check or transfer) by clicking the ticket icon next to the respective payment, then using the Edit button.
You can also download the list of payments using the Download icon at the top right.
