System Setup
Step 1: Install the Latest DYMO Software
To function correctly, your printer requires the most recent drivers and official software.
- Download: Visit the DYMO Software Download Center to find the correct version for your operating system.
- System Requirement: Some newer versions of the DYMO software require .NET 8. If the installer prompts you, stop the setup, install the appropriate version below, and then restart the DYMO installation:
Step 2: Connect the Hardware
Ensure your DYMO printer is plugged into a power source and connected via USB directly to the computer you are using for ChMeetings check-ins.
Step 3: Grant Permissions in ChMeetings
Once you enter the Check-in page, you must link the software to your hardware:
- Click on Printer Setup.
-
Important: A browser pop-up will appear asking to "Access other apps and services." You must click Allow for ChMeetings to communicate with the DYMO drivers.
Step 4: Detect the Printer
If the Printer Setup displays "No Printers Found":
- Refresh/Reload the browser page.
- Click Printer Setup again.
The DYMO printer should now appear in the dropdown list. Select it and click Save.
Step 5: Configure Label Size & Printing
ChMeetings currently has optimized support for the Large Shipping Label (S0719190).
If you are using a different label size:
- In the Printer Setup window, check the box for "Show Print Preview Before Printing."
- When you initiate a print, a standard system print dialog will appear.
- Click on More Settings and use the Paper size dropdown to select your specific label (e.g., 30365 Name Badge Card).
| Note: Always ensure your DYMO software is running in the background to maintain a stable connection between the browser and the printer. |

Troubleshooting
DYMO LabelWriter 450 Not Found In Windows
Currently, CHMeetings supports label printing through the DYMO Web Service integration. Please make sure that:
- The DYMO Connect software and DYMO Web Service are both installed and running.
- You are using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (recommended).
- The printer is properly selected in the Label Printer Setup within CHMeetings.
- If the Web Service is not running, CHMeetings will not detect your printer. You may need to restart the DYMO Web Service (look for the DYMO icon in your system tray and restart it).
Here’s DYMO’s official guide for enabling the Web Service:.
Cannot Print with DYMO LabelWriter Wireless on iOS
If you are unable to print with a LabelWriter Wireless using an iOS device, please make sure that you connect both your iOS device and the printer to the same WiFi network. You will be unable to print by connecting the device directly to the printer, because ChMeetings requires internet access, which is why both must be connected to WiFi.
DYMO Connect Web Service Issue on Mac
Newer versions of the DYMO Connect software may have compatibility issues with Mac operating systems. This issue was acknowledged by DYMO and there is a troubleshooting guide available from DYMO, which we also recommend.
