Note To Branded App Subscribers: Before submitting your app's store listing form, you must customize your app using the Builder. Please start with this guide to get to know the Builder, then continue with the following ones to learn more about in-depth features:

What Is The Member Portal?
The Member Portal is the area of the ChMeeting platform that can be accessed by your members. Here is where they can create their own user accounts, interact with your church, donate, volunteer, and more. The Member Portal is available on both the desktop and mobile app.
How To Access The Member Portal?
If you are an Admin, you can always reach the Member Portal side of your ChMeeting account by toggling it from the upper-right side of your screen. Members without administrative permission only see the Member Portal when logging into their ChMeetings accounts.
What Is The Member Portal Builder?
The Builder is a drag-and-drop tool that lets you customize your ChMeetings Member Portal.
The Builder uses cards that you can configure and drop to your pages. This way you can create content-rich experiences for anyone visiting your church - whether a member or a guest.
What Can You Do With The Member Portal Builder?
How To Access The Member Portal Builder?
To reach the Builder, please go to Member Portal > Builder. Here is where you can easily grab a link to your Member Portal and share it with everyone; or continue customizing your portal.
How To Grant Access To The Builder?
As an Owner or Administrator, you can allow people to use the Builder without having access to member data. You might want to do this for a page designer or content manager, for example. To do this, follow these steps:
- Go to Users & Roles > Roles & Permissions;
-
Create or edit a custom role and set your preferred permissions. To enable Builder access, check the Builder permission. This will allow users with this role to view, add, edit, or delete content within the Member Portal, using the Builder. If you don’t want these users to access People data, please deselect all permissions within the People section. The same goes for any other area of ChMeetings where you want to restrict access.
- If needed, assign users to the role you just created.
What Builder Features Are Exclusive To The Branded App?
The features below are part of the Builder, but only accessible to Branded App subscribers:
- The Media Card - Associated to the Media Library feature.
- Appearence settings for light mode or dark more;
- The ability to edit the member app menu (rename items, change item icons, reorder items, or configure visibility for members, guests, or both);
